Rainy Friday...

April showers, right? I think this rainy day is just what I needed... something to force me to stay inside and get caught up on computer work! I admit I've been lured outside by one too many beautiful spring day lately... the warm breeze, the sound of my girls giggling on the trampoline, just enough sun to justify the too-hip-for-me sunglasses I couldn't pass up at Target.. yes, I've been a spring slacker. But with the rain comes productivity... or puddle jumping and movie day! ;)

Almost April?

Am I the only one who feels like this year has gone by at record speed? Almost April and I'm still deciding on a new year's resolution! ;) I think I'll start by promising to keep up with the blog... I fell off the wagon for a bit there!

Just one from Sunday morning's session... a wonderful mom and her adorable little boy. These two are very dear to my heart so I wanted to create some portraits as special as they are... I've barely begun to edit but I think I may have a few!

Sleepy Baby Girl

Same little girl as below.. much different mood.



You can almost feel the snuggly warmth of the blankets, the gentle security of a newborn baby. Such a sweet little thing, I would have taken her home with me had I not already had a houseful of sweet babies like this myself!

Yeah, kind of like that.

I loved this face from the otherwise sweet and cooperative newborn I met last week. It pretty much fits the week I've had, lots of chaos and not much productivity. Sooo the blog contest I promised would start today will instead start on Wednesday. Until then I'll try and unearth myself from a sea of phone calls and emails, sessions to be proofed, orders to deliver, paperwork to file... sigh.... I'm making the face again already! ;)
