A day in the life
I recently had the honor of covering this sweet little girl's first birthday. Not the party, just a day in her life, on a day that happened to be her first birthday. As you might imagine, a day in the life of a one-year-old is not very dramatic. Basically it goes like this:
wake up
Eat
play
eat some more
play some more
Then go to sleep again
and repeat as needed. :)
While it might seem trivial at the time, all those tiny, boring little moments are the ones that make the world go around, the ones we will look back on in 10 or 15 years, when this sweet girl is driving and dating and making her daddy very nervous, and wish we could relive. It reminds me of one of my favorite quotes, by Robert Brault:
"Enjoy the little things. One day you will look back and realize they were the big things."

You always capture those "everyday moments" so beautifully. These are adorable!
Oh how precious. What a wonderful gift for this family!
I can't wait until I can have you at my house for "a day in the life" of my own child.
